Plein Air Impressionist Frames

Standard Finished Corner Frames in Impressionist and Plein Air Styles

Custom Finished Corner Frames

Reasonable prices for a quality finished-corner frame by Abend Custom Frames. I have used their black and gold/silver frames for years. Allow 4-6 weeks for frame construction.

Glazing

Glazing is the protective glass layer that covers the artwork and finishes the surface appeal of the work. Use anti-reflective (AR), not non-glare, whenever possible for gallery work and important exhibitions. Regular picture frame glass is highly reflective, obscuring the view of the artwork.

Tru Vue Museum Glass

Best, expensive, no glare and provides UV filtering.

Tru Vue AR Reflection Free Glass

Very good, decent price, no visible glare.

Acrylite Acrylic Conservation Non-Glare

Decent price, UV filtering, with a matte finish. Looks good, but does mute the finish of the work somewhat.

Acrylic Optium Museum Acrylic

Most expensive- costs more than museum glass, very light weight and will not break. Great for very large work or unique shipping conditions.

Ammonia Free Glass Cleaner for Coated Glass
